Some friends and I saw Kool Keith at Sonar last night... I wouldn't say it was a bad show, but it wasn't too far from mediocre. I liked the Dr. Octagon and Black Elvis appearances, and his co MC wasn't bad. But his DJ, Kut Master Kurt kind of sucked and rather than DJing a set, he just played, like, a catalog of songs he produced. Not to mention there were awkward 2-second pauses between every track, even once Kool Keith took the stage.
There was this flock of 12 year old (well, maybe 18) raver girls with glow sticks and black makeup all over their faces. Homegirls were throwing 'bows all over the place, and at one point Lead Raver Girl shouted "GODDDDD I WISH I WAS 21 UGGGGGGHHHHH" There was another little doped up scrawny guy against the stage who stripped down to his boxers and then TILTED A BEER BOTTLE INTO HIS EAR HOLE AND SHOOK IT AROUND. who does that???? |

heeeyyyyy check out the screenprint pattern I designed today!
if you want, go here and click on all sizes to see the original size.... ugggggggh this stuff makes my eyes hurt but I could honestly do it all day long. (that's what you said) I love zooming in and zooming out and finding where the repeat fits. there are a couple areas that aren't 100% perfect, but I'm pretty happy with it! into illustrator we go. |
